Monitor is a Dell U2414H model and I'm on Windows 10.
Monitor enters power-saving mode and goes black, but you can’t wake monitor up by clicking on the keyboard or the mouse, etc-Troubleshooting. For whatever reason though, when I add the video card back to the PCI-E slot, even if I've got the monitor hooked up to the onboard, I get stuck in power save mode everytime I otherwise check the BIO's incase you are using the onboard video when you have a PCI(-e) slot video card. Sometimes, my monitor will not come out of power save mode even when I hit any keyboard key or hit a mouse button. Windows is set to put the monitors in power save mode after 15 minutes without use. The screen then goes off with the message entering power save mode while the PC is on and the fans of the graphics card suddenly star By using different screens you ruled out the monitor, but having a no signal, or entering power save mode, basically the same thing, sounds like your video card died. Choose never in ‘Put the computer to sleep Press a few of the buttons and see if you can get a display settings menu to come up. My display is currently set to sleep automatically after 15 minutes but once this happens, the monitor indicates that it is "Entering Power Save Mode" then turns back on, then says it is "Entering Power Save Mode" before turning back on again. I reconnected everything, rebooted in safe mode which didn't change anything.
